Swallow your party pride, literally, with sundaes at Serendipity 3

The acclaimed restaurant Serendipity 3 will be serving the "Make America Great Again" and "I'm with HER" sundaes through Election Day. Both sundaes have nods to the candidates including a chocolate "wall" and a "liberal" sprinkle of sand tarts. Both will come with a ballot to vote for best sundae.

Tune into "The Medium is the Massacre"

Inspired by the work of Marshall McLuhan and Neil Postman, this film exhibition will show films about the media and the great power it has in our society. This topic is extremely fitting given this election cycle.

Pre-election lecture at NYU: America's image in the world

This event will be an overview of the campaign season and speculation on the potential outcomes of either administration. The panel will include a variety of people who have backgrounds from the German-speaking world. Two of the five panelists are Georg Heindl, the Consul General of the Republic of Austria at the Austrian Consulate General in New York and Dietmar Rieg, the President and CEO of the German American Chamber of Commerce in New York.
