King’s Announces Collaboration with Primacorp Ventures Inc.
The King’s College announced its new collaboration with Primacorp Ventures Inc. on May 14 via newsletter email, The King’s Insider. President Tim Gibson and the Board of Trustees approved the agreement on April 30.
Under terms of the agreement, Primacorp will provide resources and expertise regarding student recruitment, marketing and fundraising, while the College will retain control of academic standards, institutional messaging and curriculum offerings.
Primacorp is “an independent contractor with specific expertise in meeting the ancillary needs of educational institutions,” now committed to helping King’s work towards two primary goals. First, “to optimize use of the current campus,” and second, “to build out online academic programs.”
President Gibson believes that Primacorp’s strengths are suited to aid King’s in its most challenging aspects while protecting King’s core mission.
“After months of conversations, it is evident that Primacorp is genuinely enthusiastic about The King’s College mission and academic offerings,” President Gibson was quoted in the announcement. “They are committed to seeing the College thrive and forge a lasting influence on society.”
Tim Dunn, chairman of The King’s College board, was quoted, “This venture with Primacorp creates an opportunity not only to significantly enhance King’s business model, but also to more fully realize the vision King’s was founded to pursue. We look forward to a bright future in pursuit of God’s Kingdom in New York City and across the world.”
