The Lady Lions won their last home game of the year against Webb Institute at St. Joseph’s College on Saturday afternoon. Winning 95-10, this gave the team a 3-4 overall record and 1-1 in their conference, at the end of 2019.

Bailey Kaufman led the team with 35 points and 20 steals, earning herself a double-double. Shá Sanders poured in 20 points and had 9 assists. Before fouling out in the fourth quarter, Callie Donaghue also earned a double-double with 10 points and 13 rebounds.

Their forwards moved the game along as well. Laura Sneed had 7 blocks, 12 rebounds, and 9 points while Serena Tuomi had 11 rebounds and 6 points. Sarah Sudfeld helped off the bench with 6 rebounds and 13 points.

“Going into it, we knew it was going to be an easy game, but we didn’t anticipate that we’d play that cohesively,” Sneed said.

Following winter break, the Lady Lions will continue their season on Thursday, January 23. They will play Yeshiva University at 7:15 pm at Aviator Sports Complex in Brooklyn.
